Collectibles - Advertising
Advertising collectibles are items produced by a company for the purpose of advertising. The nature of the products, however, lends themselves to being collected because of the content. For example, the "Got Milk?" ads became popular because of the celebrities that appeared in them. Jim Beam began making special bottles to promote sales. The bottles became collectible. The following list provides insight into the breadth of advertising collectibles: Absolut vodka ads, Advertising art, Got Milk? ads, Matchcovers, Brand article collecting, Campbell's Soup collectables, Coca-Cola, Harley Davidson collectibles, John Deere collectibles, Bottles, Alcohol bottles, Breweriana, Petroliana.
