It is directed at artists themselves and collectors of the many wonderful and delightful things human beings find worthwhile. The Gallery is a place where people can part with cherished items, engage in commerce at the individual level, and be enticed by an eclectic mixture of good and services within the realm of collectibles and the arts.

To make MariaLuna's Gallery better, individuals with items for sale that do not fit the predefined categories need a place to list them. For example, music might be appropriate to stand as a separate category since it is both an art and a collectible. But is there sufficient demand for it? More categories make the site more difficult to navigate. Too few categories make the site less useful. The "Other" category allows for site use and development or better insight into the site's clientele.
